Temporary Changes to Route 10 Bus Stops

Due to construction on Sherwood Ave

Effective at start of day Tuesday, May 19 and continuing until further notice, Route 10 buses will detour away from Sherwood Avenue in Amherstview due to construction.

Temporary alternative stops will be posted for the duration of construction activity.

Register with Health Care Connect

Loyalist Township is pleased to announce the arrival of three new family physicians as part of its ongoing physician recruitment efforts.

People who do not currently have a primary care provider are encouraged to register with Health Care Connect, a program that helps connect patients with family doctors accepting new patients. The new physicians are required to give priority to Loyalist residents.

Back Beach Closed for Swimming

Back Beach on Amherst Island has been deemed unsafe for swimming and has been closed temporarily. Signs warning against swimming have been posted.
Southeast Public Health monitors the water quality at municipally owned and operated public bathing beaches within our area.
Once the water quality has been deemed safe, we will provide an update.
