Loyalist Park Pump Track Project Notice

Loyalist Township is beginning construction of a new pump track at Loyalist Park. This new park amenity is being made possible thanks to the generous support of an anonymous donor.

What to Expect

• Excavation and site preparation work began on May 4,2026.
• Construction activity within Loyalist Park will continue until July 30, 2026
• Temporary noise and construction activity
• Efforts will be made to limit impacts on other park users where possible

What Is a Pump Track?

The pump track provides a continuous loop of rolling terrain, and features designed to be used by bikes, scooters, skateboards, and other wheeled sports. Riders generate momentum by “pumping” their bodies up and down, making it accessible and fun for users of all ages and skill levels.

Community Benefits

Once complete, the new pump track will:

• Complement existing uses at Loyalist Park
• Provide a new, inclusive recreation option
• Encourage physical activity and healthy lifestyles
• Create a vibrant gathering space for youth, families and visitors
