Notice of Construction – County Road 6

GIP Paving Inc. has been contracted by the County of Lennox and Addington to undertake the rehabilitation of County Road 6, from County Road 23 south to Highway 33.

This project involves the structural improvement and resurfacing of County Road 6 to enhance driving conditions and extend the life of the roadway. The scope of work includes:

• Widening of the existing road platform to improve safety and accommodate current traffic needs
• Milling of the existing asphalt surface to prepare for new paving
• Application of a Stress Absorbing Membrane Interlayer (SAMI) to reduce future cracking and improve pavement performance
• Paving with new asphalt for a smoother and more durable road surface

To facilitate the work, traffic will be reduced to one lane in multiple locations, controlled by flag personnel. Access to private driveways may be temporarily impacted, and advance notice will be provided if your property is affected.

Schedule:

• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• Expected Completion: October 31, 2025
