Notice of Request for Proposal (RFP 2026-22) Sale of Surplus Land

The Corporation of Loyalist Township is inviting proposals for the purchase of the following municipally-owned surplus lands, as declared surplus by Resolution 2025-103 of Council in accordance with By-law No. 2004-33 and the Municipal Act, 2001. Proposals will be received until 4 p.m. local time on November 4, 2026 through the Loyalist Township Procurement Portal (Bids & Tenders).

This property is located on the north side of Amherst Drive, northwest of the intersection with Manitou Crescent West.

Property Tax Roll Number:     

1104-010-030-17502

According to the last returned assessment roll, the assessed value of the land is $106,000 (2016).

Minimum purchase amount:    

• With no additional residential units: $200,000
• With 1 additional residential unit included: $187,500
• With 2 additional residential units included: $175,000
• With 3 additional residential units included: $162,500

Terms of sale:

• The property is being offered for sale through a competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) process.
• The land is being sold as is, where is, with no representations or warranties by the Township.
• The successful proponent will be required to enter into a formal Agreement of Purchase and Sale.
• The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and is not obligated to accept any offer.

Submission deadline:

Proposals must be submitted through the Loyalist Township Procurement Portal (Bids & Tenders) no later than: November 4, 2026 4:00 PM local time.
