Declutter your home and make a difference! Loyalist Township’s annual E-Waste, Battery, Textile, and Food Drive is an opportunity for Township residents to recycle responsibly.
Electronic waste, or e-waste, is among the fastest-growing waste streams worldwide, containing hazardous materials that can harm the environment and human health if not disposed of correctly.
Residents can swing by the Amherstview Fire Station anytime during the event, and drive to the back of the parking lot where Township staff will be waiting to help collect your recyclable items.

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Place: Amherstview Fire Station, 363 Amherst Drive, Amherstview

Textile Donation:
The Loyalist Community Sharing Centre will collect your gently used clothing, linens, and textiles. Your donations directly support local families in need and reduce textile waste.

- General cloth items - bedding and bath items
- Shoes and boots
- Sleeping bags
Note: All textiles must be dry and clean.
Food Donations:
Amherstview Lions Club will accept non-perishable food items, supporting local community food banks and addressing food insecurity.
