Loyalist Township partners with BGC South East for year-round Child Programs

April 1, 2022 - Loyalist Township recognizes the importance of affordable day camps in our communities. In an effort to provide opportunities in multiple communities, and increase the level of service, Loyalist Township is partnering with BGC South East (formerly known as the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston & Area) for the delivery of day camp programs effective April 1, 2022. BGC South East will provide child-care recreation programs including camps in addition to the possibility of offering future after-school programming.

Programming will expand beyond the current offerings available in Amherstview (summer camps, winter break, March break and PA days) to include day camp opportunities in Amherstview, Bath and Odessa.

BGC South East has a long history of providing not only fun and engaging but affordable and safe day camp offerings in the communities they serve. Loyalist Township welcomes their expansion within Loyalist Township.

BGC South East plans to offer PA Day camps in Amherstview on April 29, 2022, and June 3, 2022.

Summer camp begins July 4, 2022, and will be offered in Amherstview and Bath. Due to school renovations, there will be no camp in Odessa, however, if there is sufficient need, transportation will be provided to attend the Amherstview camps for children 4-12 years of age. Details will be on the BGC South East website once confirmed. Registration opens April 4, 2022, at 8:00 a.m.
