Entrance permits on Township roads
If you are creating a new driveway, or widening an existing one, you must first contact our office and complete an entrance permit application. There is a $150 fee that must be paid at the time of the application ($100 application fee and $50 inspection fee).
All driveway culverts must be installed by the Township. The cost for a 6m culvert is $1,800, plus $150 per metre for each additional metre.
Depending on the scope of work to be completed, a $2,500 damage deposit may be required.
Entrance permits on County roads
If you wish to widen an existing driveway or create a new driveway that enters onto a County road, you must obtain a permit from the County of Lennox and Addington. You can get more information on the County's website or by calling them at 613-354-4883.
Entrance permits on MTO highways
Please note that Bath Road/Highway 33 is a provincial highway and falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Transportation. If you plan to do driveway widening or a new entrance onto Highway 33, please visit the MTO's website.
