Curbside Giveaway Day

The next Curbside Giveaway Day in Loyalist Township is Saturday, April 25, 2026.

Curbside Giveaway Days are a great opportunity to de-clutter and find a new home for any unwanted items while also picking up something you may want or need for free! Keep gently used items out of the landfills by allowing others to re-use or up-cycle them.

How to participate

If you participate, we encourage you to take advantage of our Giveaway Day Map to help others find the treasures you are putting out. Scroll down and use the map tool.

Pin your address on the map
Describe the items you are putting out
Add a photo of the items you are giving away (optional)

Clearly label your items as FREE
Place at the curb in front of your home by 7a.m. on the Giveaway Day
Ensure any items that you do not want taken are kept away from the curb
Unclaimed items must be removed by 5pm on the same day and remain your responsibility. Loyalist Township will NOT be collecting unclaimed items.

Respect other people’s property – do not walk on people’s lawns or gardens
Take only items that are marked ‘FREE’ and placed at the curb
Do not leave previously picked-up items on the curb at other people’s property
