Shaylyn is an award-winning country singer/songwriter and veteran of the stage. She captivates audiences with her commanding stage presence and old soul passion for music.

Shaylyn's storytelling in her songwriting resonates strongly in all her music and has led her to perform at venues across Canada, as well as some of the largest honkytonk stages in Nashville, Tennessee.

Recently returned from Nashville after being nominated for Song of the Year at The Josie Music Awards and last October winning Song of the Year at The Red Carpet Awards Show in Holland, Shaylyn's music truly shines from her heart. When it comes to her fans, there is nothing more Shaylyn loves than Kickin' It Country!

Performance by Hellhound Trail  

Hellhound Trail is a blues-rock band from Kingston, Ontario, fusing swampy blues, gritty rock, and roots influences into a raw, energetic sound. Cousin Jeff leads with soulful vocals and howling slide guitar, while Uncle Brandon adds surf-inspired leads. Old Man Lôg keeps the groove grounded on bass, and Spring Heeled Mat brings depth and heart on drums and percussion.

Their first two EPs showcase their distinctive style, and the band is currently crafting new material for a full-length album, continuing to push the boundaries of blues, rock, and soul with every performance.
