Temporary Closure of Bulk Water and Small Fill Stations

Due to construction work at the booster station located at 243 County Road 6, the Bulk Water and Small Fill Stations are temporarily out of service. 

The closure began on June 9, 2026, and will remain in effect until further notice while construction is underway.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Temporary Changes to Route 10 Bus Stops

Due to construction on Sherwood Ave

Effective at start of day Tuesday, May 19 and continuing until further notice, Route 10 buses will detour away from Sherwood Avenue in Amherstview due to construction.

Temporary alternative stops will be posted for the duration of construction activity.

Register with Health Care Connect

Loyalist Township is pleased to announce the arrival of three new family physicians as part of its ongoing physician recruitment efforts.

People who do not currently have a primary care provider are encouraged to register with Health Care Connect, a program that helps connect patients with family doctors accepting new patients. The new physicians are required to give priority to Loyalist residents.

Fairgrounds and Sk8er Park

Winter restrictions

Sk8er Park is not available for rentals during December 1 to April 1.

The rink continues to be open for public outdoor ice-skating when weather permits.

Odessa is home to the Odessa Fairgrounds, one of the oldest in Ontario. The Odessa Fairgrounds is operated by the Odessa Agricultural Society. If you are interested in booking the fairgrounds for your events, please visit their website for more information.

Booking Sk8er Park

Sk8er Park is located at the Odessa Fairgrounds and is available for casual use. The facility is converted into an outdoor ice rink during the winter months - weather permitting. When the facility is not in use, the surface is available for occasional non-organized use and is a popular location for skateboarding.

Outdoor rink status

Updates on ice conditions, rink closure and schedule changes will be posted on this page. Outdoor rinks availability is subject to weather conditions. If you are a skater - please use your judgment and do not use the outdoor rink when weather conditions are poor.
