Sidewalks and walkways

The Official Plan for Loyalist Township identifies the importance of sidewalks for accessibility, connecting communities and active transportation. 

Sidewalks are inspected annually and maintained as per Minimum Maintenance Standards.

If you notice a sidewalk, walkway, or township path in need of repair, please let us know with a service request.

When reporting your concern, please include the following:

• the location of the damaged sidewalk or walkway
• the type of damage, and how far it extends

Damaged sidewalks are repaired based on priority and where budget allows.
