Streetlights
Report a problem
The Township owns and operates streetlights along township roads and in township parks. If you notice a light that is out, stays on throughout the day, or turns on and off, please report this to us by filling out this reporting form, or by calling the Township's assistance line at 613-386-7351, ext. 116.
To report the light, it helps to have the pole number and location. You can find the pole number approximately 3m off the ground, facing the street. The pole number is printed on a stainless-steel band and will have one letter and three numbers. For example: A310 or P037.
Repairs
Repairs are made by R.W. Electric, the Township's contractor. Please note that repairs may take up to fourteen days or longer if the utilities provider is required to assist with repairs.
Traffic lights
Traffic lights in Loyalist Township are maintained by a combination of the Township, the County, and the Ministry of Transportation.
Report a problem
If you have concerns about traffic light timing, please Report a Concern so we can direct it to the appropriate maintenance team.
If you notice flashing lights, traffic lights that are out, or any other safety concern, please call our Operations Clerk at 613-384-7651 x 116 so we can fix it as soon as possible.
