Hazardous waste
The City of Kingston has informed us that the new Household Hazardous Waste Depot at 189 Lappans Ln. is under construction and is expected to open in Spring 2027. Updates will be shared as we receive them.
In the meantime, residents can attend a Township Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Event or use the RPRA's Where to Recycle Map, which details which retailers will accept different types of HHW. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Any questions can be directed to the Operations Clerk at 613-386-7351 x116.
Household hazardous waste (HHW) includes products like used motor oil and empty motor oil containers, leftover paint, and chemicals that can't go into the garbage or recycling bin.
Our HHW program is managed through the City of Kingston. The new Household Hazardous Waste Depot is under construction and is tentatively expected to open in Spring 2027. Updates will be posted.
While Kingston's Household Hazardous Waste Depot is under construction, Loyalist Township is hosting a HHW Disposal Event. Click on the button below for more information.
