Temporary Changes to Route 10 Bus Stops

Due to construction on Sherwood Ave

Effective at start of day Tuesday, May 19 and continuing until further notice, Route 10 buses will detour away from Sherwood Avenue in Amherstview due to construction.

Temporary alternative stops will be posted for the duration of construction activity.

Aquafit Programs

Our Aquafit classes are for ANYONE! If you are interested in increasing your fitness level, water fitness can help you. Each class offers a combination of stretching, strength and resistance training, as well as a variety of balance, range of motion, and cardiovascular exercises. Exercising in the pool is fun and takes pressure of your joints and limbs too. Come visit the Barr Homes Aquatic Centre and try out a class for free today! 

Summer 2026 

The Barr Homes Aquatic Centre is opening Summer 2026! During the summer months, we will be running a reduced aquafit schedule while we onboard our staff and get more familiar with our beautiful new aquatic centre. Classes will take place in the Latham Lap Pool. 

This Fall we will expand our Aquafit program offerings to include classes in the Savage Family Leisure Pool as well as the Latham Lap Pool. 

Pre-registration for classes is recommended to guarantee your spot, but it isn’t needed. 

Aquafit is open for pre-registration one week prior to the event for residents and Kingston residents, and four days prior to the event for non-residents. Drop-in registration is also possible if spots are available the day of the class. 

Fees and Memberships – Summer 2026 

One Month Fitness Membership - $51.56 

Fitness 10 Class Pass - $92.74 

Drop-in class - $9.53
