Are you cautiously taking the plunge and deciding it's time to learn to swim? Or are you a seasoned pool veteran who knows their way around lane swimming? Doesn't matter! Loyalist Township Recreation has an aquatics program for you no matter what age or skill level you are!
We have group lessons for adults looking to learn how to swim in a more social setting. Adults choosing to participate in group lessons will progress through the three adult levels of the Lifesaving Society's Swim for Life® program. This program will start with getting you comfortable in the water and learning basic skills before building up your strokes and endurance to have you swimming lengths in no time at all! Adults and teens are also welcome to sign up for Private Lessons that take place at the same time as Children's Swimming Lessons.
Loyalist Township is proud to be partnering with BGC South East and the YMCA of Eastern Ontario to provide interim options for aquatics programs while decisions regarding next steps for the pool at the W.J. Henderson Recreation Centre are being made. The addresses for both can be found below followed by some important reminders.

Spring 2025 registration dates:
Loyalist Residents: Monday, May 26 at 12pm
Non-Residents: Thursday, May 29 at 12pm

Lessons will be taking place at the BGC South East and YMCA of Eastern Ontario - Wright Crescent Branch pools in Kingston beginning June 30, 2025 and running until August 22, 2025.
